There's something magical and tranquil about a frozen/half frozen lake/river etc. Capture that beautiful scenery of nature's hand at work. You can include boats/ trees/ houses etc as props for your photos, but the frozen lake/river must be there as the eyecatching item.

Maybe I am wrong but I'm pretty sure birds are considered animals. Am I the only one curious how this one won, when the rules were obviously not read??
