Taken during the World Judo Championships by Teams, Antalya, Turkey. White is performing a Harai-Makikomi "Sweeping Wraparound" resulting in an ippon "Full point".

The good: the right timing (helped by the fps I suppose)

The bad: the right foot is cropped.

What could make it better: showing the facial expression of either of the players (may not be possible but would definitely makes it a better photo).

The bright light in the background doesn't help either.

You do get picture like this by accident sometimes. Why? Because you don't exactly know when it happens as you have no control of the players and the players don't move around under your direction. You have to be at the right place at the right time to get something like this. Then of course, this applies to some other genres of photography, too.

Not only is that an excellent harai makikomi, it's a left sided throw as well. And the photographer caught it right at the instant of no return, at that fraction of a second that the technique is at its most spectacular. You don't get a picture like this by accident; the photographer is well acquainted with judo and knows the precise instant to press the trigger. After 40 years in judo, I can feel the power of this throw just by looking at this photo.
