Challenge has finished
Welcome to the 2010 'Challenge of Challenges.' This is our second annual 'Picture of the Year' competition, contested by some of the leading challenge-winning images from the past twelve months. With over 1200 challenges completed this year, we were unable to include every winning entry so instead are asking you to vote on the 100 most voted-for challenge-winners of 2010.
Green tree python (morelia viridis) These nonvenomous constrictor snakes live on trees in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. They grow up to 200 cm long. They are said to be no dangerous for humans. I would not be too certain... So far, I have not been able to find any information about the meaning of the behaviour shown here.
