My first challenge in this series looks at....the ceiling. So whether this is the place where you live, work or have travelled to, it does not matter. Ceilings through history have been splendid examples of decoration and inspiration. Show us what you found and share it.

No after processing, HDR or whatever. Straight from your camera.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Colour pictures only
No flash or additional lighting: use the available light
All type of digital cameras allowed
Write a few words on where the picture was taken and the circumstances
The emphasis should clearly be on the ceiling
Pictures not meeting the requirements will be disqualified
