Hagia Sophia (Istanbul)

Hagia Sophia, one of Istanbul's most famous mosques, was actually built as a church around 550 AD, until 1450 when the Ottomans conquered Istanbul (Constantinople at the time) and converted it. Some Christian relics and paintings can still be found in Hagia Sophia.
