A lovely photograph, but it's not of Crete! This is taken from a country road that runs north from Murlo towards Siena, in Tuscany, Italy - I took a photograph from the exact same spot a few years ago, attracted, like you no doubt, by the sight of the cluster of cypresses on top of the hill in the centre of the photograph. The countryside there is incomparably beautiful, and your photo does it justice.
