Continuing on with our Rivers theme - we can now concentrate on one of the most dramatic aspects of rivers - waterfalls. Again, to avoid images that show only flowing water, images must include at least part of the river bank or left/right side of the waterfall. However, the top edge of the waterfall is not necessary. Please NO HUMAN ELEMENTS in this Art of Earth series!

Processing rules:

As this is the Art of Nature series, only basic post-capture processing is permitted to clean up the image and correct colour balance.
Conversion to B&W and panoramic stitching are permitted.
No radical shifts in hue or saturation.
No HDR.
No photo montages. Remember, you are not creating the art - in this series we are studying the art create by Mother Nature.

Show us more than just flowing water by including at least a part of the river bank or left/right edge.
Please - this is the Art of Nature - human elements are not permitted:
no waterfalls from dams or weirs; no boats; no built waterfronts or built-up shorelines; no bridges or buildings; no docks, wharves, quays or boats; no locks; no canals unless they are naturalised; no people; no pets.
If you are submitting 2 photos - please make them entirely different: different places, different composition, different time of day, etc.

Cachoeira da Feiticeira (Sorceress Waterfall) is a small and less known waterfall in Ilha Grande, Brazil. Its quite a hike to get there, but its a magical place to be.
