Hint: A model release isn't necessary - there is not indication of commercial gain from the use of this photo. Just as I wouldn't need a release to put a picture of an ugly person in the newspaper. Some of you need to step down off the pulpit.

Certainly no worse than many of the depression era photos I've seen.

I'm hoping that there's a release from this woman to publish this photo. It's certainly not a flattering image and wouldn't go up if it was mine. Brick is an insensitive attention seeker in my book.

Most people who have drinking problems place their beverage of choice in a different container to conceal the problem or skirt legal issues of open container laws.

If you look at the cap on her "Malt Liquor" you can see it has the brand logo for SOBE beverages. The photographer is being disingenuous at best and simply lying for the purpose of making this photo something more than it is. I believe this photo should be disqualified from the competition.

Sad to see people like this, but contrary to some, it's not a matter of luck. Also, it's clearly a female.

Congrats on the win, this shot is just the type of entries I hoped to see... I'm also not sure though if this is a guy or a gal ;)
