Silicon Cities

Challenge #2 in the Engineering series. Hosted by Atrin.
Challenge has finished
With the second challenge in the Engineering Series we turn our attention to the circuit board. These little cities of resistors, capacitors, transistors and various other surface components can be found virtually anywhere you can find electronics. Many different materials with their own properties are littered across these boards, with a great deal of variation in depth/dimensions. Be creative with your lighting (be it sunlight or controlled indoor lighting). There is no excuse for a boring photograph!

I tried 3 different lenses to cover DPF of this close up: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6, Pentax DA 16-45mm F4, and Tamron 28-75mm F2.8. The Sigma image still is not as sharp as DA 16-45 due to heavy crop, but wins because of special perspective at 10mm focal length.
