This is NOT a people running about the image challenge. What it is is an environmental portrait of the guy or gal that keeps our primary modes of transport up and running. The mechanic. Make sure you capture them in the environment that they do their work. Pay attention to the whole of the frame not just the subject. In other words you need to see the man and his recognisable work space/tools of his trade etc.

Processing rules:

Please remember this is a photography challenge, so please no photographic collages or multiple image illustrations. Keep it looking like a photograph please but play with the curves, grain, whatever to make your image capture the essence of the person and the environment.
Pure B/W, colour, B/W toned OK.
No watermarks, signatures or borders. Oily fingerprints will be overlooked.
Images of people running will be DQ'd. Unless it's your mechanic running around trying to fix your transport and he's running in his place of work.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

No naked mechanics. No mechanics dissecting horses, elephants, oxen, donkeys, dogs, etc, Show them fixing the cart or the sled instead.
No mechanics beating up other mechanics, surly customers or vise versa.
Political statements about your mechanic will be entertained and are encouraged.
The man that fixes your shoes is a mechanic of sorts and will be allowed as walking could be considered a primary mode of transport for some.
