Street/Public Building: Candid Captures
Challenge has finished
We all walk the streets of our towns or city's at times. Just the other day, I decided to take my camera with me, because I knew I would have some time to take a few pictures in the area I was working in, after I finished up. I walked around the downtown area of the small town and grabbed some candid images without being too intrusive (I used a 70-300, but I was still close... 50 feet away or so. So I wasn't "hiding").. Anyway, I did get a few interesting captures..
Capture people doing normal things, Talking to others, Lighting up a cigarette, Talking on the phone, Dining at a street cafe, what ever.
For some, this will be a challenge just to take the photo. Give it a go....
Remember: Take pictures of people "In Publicly Owned Areas" .( Not Private Property) is legal in most countries. Just don't be a jerk and pushy... don't interrupt their space, except to take a capture or two.
That's way I used a 70-300, to allow me some distance, without attracting their attention.
