The opposite of red on the colour wheel is cyan, hence the red-cyan plane of the visible spectrum, i.e. the "White Balance" found on digital cameras. A warm image is more reddish and a cool image is more cyanish.

The opposite of green is magenta, hence the green-magenta plane, which is what is adjusted by the "Hue" setting of digital cameras.
