- For the benefit of views, participants are encouraged to name the place / location of the photo, either in the title or in the notes. I would recommend voters to take this guideline into consideration during the voting phase.
- Please consult Wikipedia for clarification on what locations are part of Istanbul. This will be the lone resource used for judgment on this issue (should the need arise)
- Complaints of entries will only be assessed during the submission phase, NOT the voting phase.
- If there are any questions or "gray areas" in this challenge, please contact me for clarification. My decision on any entries are final, which will be used consistently over the duration of the challenge.

The Real 34

Istanbul has a magnificient array of historic and modern buildings, venues, sights and you can see many of them in this challenge, however I wanted the give a glimpse of the real Istanbul (licence plate no 34), not glorious monuments, awesome foliage, palaces and skyscrapers, but a back street in the heart of Istanbul: The Istiklal Street, 8:27 AM. The location is just when you turn around the French consulate general. Imagine walking here with your sweetheart hand to hand.
