Glass is an amazing matter : it's solid yet it lets light go through. We, photographers know that better than anybody else. Some of us spend hours, days, even our entire professional life looking for diffraction, distortion, chromatic aberration, to name but a few of lenses' potential flaws. But the act of seeing through an un-homogeneous matter - be it old window glass, a piece of cloth or a plastic film - creates interesting compositions. This is want I want to see! If in doubt, look at pictures below to get an idea of what I expect.

Double reflection: rose seen through a window reflected in the glass of a picture frame on the wall opposite the window, then the picture frame is reflected in a mirror hanging on the same wall as the window.

This can only happen during a brief time in the morning at certain times of the year when the sun is at the right angle. And of course there has to be a rose blooming in the right spot at the same time!
