Spent approx. 20 minutes risking getting hiit by various means of transport, not mentioning getting arrested (after all, everybody knows that photographers with huge, conspicuous cameras / tripods easily visible from 5 miles are either terrorists or perverts). Was totally worth it :) As for the title - well, if streets are the veins of a city, traffic is its pulse.

Taken: Friday, 19th February, 2010
Focal length: 11 mm
Shutter speed: 126 sec
Aperture: F22
ISO: 100
Notes: Used approx 7-8 photos to capture traffic passing by at irregular intervals. used varying aperture values - f16 and above allowed me to get nice flare effects on bright lights (lamp posts etc) while lower ones (below f11) allowed me to keep the sky clear from mini flares that fire up above f11 (i think i need to clean my lens haha).
