This is a picture of a "Ghost Bike" in Portland, OR. These are created and put in place by volunteers as a memorial to an individual who lost his or her life while riding a bike. These are placed as closely as possible to the location of the incident. I always find these a bit haunting and I tried to capture that emotion. This one seemed particularly poignant due to the Christmas decorations.
