Travel series: American Landscape: Close, Middle and Far. Captions required.
Challenge has finished
The United States landscape is as beautiful as any in the world. Landscape photographers have been capturing this scenic beauty for a long time. You don’t have to travel to a National Park to find it, either. In this challenge, we will practice setting up interesting composition.
•Show and tell us about your favorite American landscape. Captions are required, so tell us when and where it was taken.
•In your composition of the landscape image, it will be more interesting to the viewer if you have something interesting in the forefront of the image (some call it an anchor), then have the middle and background complete the image by guiding the eye across the frame. We all know the rule of thirds, the golden rule etc. Lets take it one more step up and show better thought and planning in our composition.
