Who perpetuates the myth that lightning never strikes the same place twice? My cam snapped THREE photos (timestamped 4:34:09, 4:34:53, and 4:36:01) of bolts hammering the same spot across the span of several minutes. Similarly: Who perpetuates the myth that we should expect 'the tallest tree' will be the lightning magnet? These not-quite-consecutive bolts struck a stream bed 60m downhill from the house (and only 60m away!)
