The classic red-eye tree frog, captured near La Paz, Costa Rica. With only 0.03% of the world's land area, Costa Rica contains an estimated 4% of the world's total species and is among the top 20 countries in biodiversity. But as El Sapo Dorado reminds us - extinction is forever.
