Let's show our best portraits. Any kind are welcome, but only people, no animals please (unless they're with people). Colors, B&W, long or shallow DOF, whatever. We want to know something about the picture (background story, etc.) and possibly about the subjects in the pictures. Good challenge!

This photo was part of an assignment in my digital photography class last year. We were told to find an extremely outdated photo that was in need of repair, fix it up on photoshop, and shoot a new photo of something we felt captured the same essence of the old one, yet remained individual to itself. The first depicted my great-grandfather in front of the cabin he had so proudly been constructing. This picture represented the same cabin two generations later, still being cared for just as deeply
