Continuing on with the Art of Earth series... Images of rivers always evoke a timelessness of the water passing before us. Show us your timeless river images that portray the art inherent in the chaos of nature. You may include wildlife as long as they are shown in their natural environment (not pets!!).

Processing rules:

As this is the Art of Nature series, only basic post-capture processing is permitted to clean up the image and correct colour balance.
Conversion to B&W is permitted.
No radical shifts in hue or saturation.
HDR shots should look natural (if possible). After all, you are not creating the art - in this series Mother Nature is.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

In the title, please include the name of the river/stream/creek and its location.
Show us more than just flowing water by including at least a part of the river bank/edge/shoreline.
Also - no waterfalls! They will be the subject of another Challenge in this series.
Please - this is the Art of Nature - human elements are not permitted:
• no boats; no built waterfronts or built-up shorelines; no bridges; no docks, wharves, quays; no locks; no canals unless they are naturalised; no people; no pets
