Everybody has photos where they juuuust missed the perfect moment. A blink that spoils a portrait. Someone turns away right as the shutter is tripped. A capture made just after the peak of action. Sometimes, however, these "failures" can be more interesting than the "keepers". Show us your "just missed" shots that you find are more interesting than if you'd "nailed it" as you originally intended. Please read and follow the additional rules. Thanks

Processing rules:

No composites or "digital art" effects

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

"Set up" shots not allowed. Entries should be "honest mistakes", not an attempt to recreate a spontaneous event.
The "miss" must be on the part of the photographer. In other words, a shot of someone missing a soccer kick on goal, or dropping an object, or missing a train, doesn't fit the challenge. Save them though, because those types of shots will be just right for "Missed it by THAT much Part 2".
