Your Ancient History

Challenge #5 in the Eye of the Beholder series. Hosted by wrosenthal.
Challenge has finished
Recently I submitted photos to several challenges that I took decades ago as a teenager. They did not do too badly, and one was actually in the top ten. Now it is your turn. Show an early photo, perhaps the first photo that you took that you believe was worth showing to others but that you never submitted to a contest or challenge. For some of you that will be a piece of ancient history. For others, it will be more recent history. You must indicate in the notes your age now and the age that you were when you took the photo. The ‘honor system’ prevails. Please read all of the rules below before participating. Let’s have some fun with this one.

Idyllic Moment

3rd place
I am 51 years of age now, would have been 26 then. I've always liked the idyllic feel of this photo - so much so that at the time I bothered to have a print made from the original transparency. This is my nephew 25 years ago trying to use a ball to get something knocked down that was stuck in the tree. Right place, right time, right angle...idyllic.
