Everyone has faith in someone or something. Even atheists have faith that their beliefs are valid. In this challenge, share photos which portray faith or belief in a Higher Power or Powers (or even the lack thereof). Images must include people: symbols, artwork or buildings alone will be disqualified. Please read the additional rules for more details.

Processing rules:

No composites or "Digital Art" effects.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Images must include live people engaged in some activity relevant to the faith, belief or religion being represented by the image.
Images of artwork, symbols, signs or buildings alone will be disqualified. If people are present in images of these subjects, they cannot simply be passersby.
Images can range from formal portraits to candids, as long as it's evident that the people are either engaged in or representing their beliefs, faith or religion.
Images of body parts, such as hands holding a sacred book or item such as prayer beads are acceptable.
"Organized religions" aren't the only acceptable subject. The important thing is that the photo tells the story of someone acting iupon or representing their faith or belief, not whether the faith or belief conforms to "organized religion".
Please include a description to help identify the faith or belief being portrayed.

It was snowing. 2 young Tibetans were making 'long kowtow' --- fully lay down his body until face touched ground (note the color of his nose). By their body in this way, they will measure every inch of hundreds miles from their home village to Budala Palace, Lhasa and more holy temples, mountains and lakes. The trip of pilgrimage would take months or, probably, years. Nobody can make even a single miles without the strongest belief, which you can find in the eyes of the young man.
