Triptych: When a Single Picture Won't Do

Challenge #3 in the Telling the Story series. Hosted by CharlesB58.
Challenge has finished
There are times when a sequence of photos does a better job of telling the story than a single image. This is a very specific challenge requirement for a "triptych". Combine a sequence of three images into a single submitted image that tells more of the story than a single image would. See additional rules for more details.

I took eight different multi-exposure panoramas on the morning of 3-7-08 of the Teton Range from Teton Point in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA. I stitched them in Photoshop, and chose the best three for my triptych. The 1st, on the bottom, was about 3 minutes before the light hit the mountains, 6:45AM local; the 2nd, middle, about five to six minutes later; and the 3rd, top, about 50 minutes after the 1st pano. Temperature that morning was -4 F !
