A formal portrait is not a snapshot but a carefully arranged pose under effective lighting conditions. For this challenge, submit your best formal portrait of a single person looking at the camera. This was the first image that led me to believe that I might eventually find a career in photography. The original was a Kodachrome 25 transparency, scanned at 14 bits.
