We snowshoe'd 2.5 miles from Badger Pass to Dewey Point in Yosemite National Park (California, USA). Ribbon Fall is across Yosemite Valley from Dewey Point, at the west end of El Capitan. This waterfall (the highest single drop fall in North America - 1,612 feet or 491 meters) runs only during the winter and spring.
