The pot plant helps make the image!!

You say that you did not notice it "unfortunately"...
In a conventional wedding, that plant would ruin the picture.
But in this one, it adds to the image : just the kind of plant for these people.
So inadvertently you created a funny effect that makes the image actually BETTER.
