Sleeping children must be the "kitsch" of photography. Therefore you are encouraged to make something more out of the subject than just a sleeping pretty child. Be creative and try to put this into something new and creative.

Trying "to make something more out of the subject"... I kinda honed on this because sometimes it seems the little things, like a hand hanging out of the crib can really evoke as much as a peaceful, sleeping smile.
