Haven't you seen a picture were you have the feeling it stares right back at you? Doesn't everybody remember the famous "Afghan girl" from Nationatl Geographic? Communicate with us through the eyes of somebody. Don't be afraid to do some heavy cropping.

During a photography class field trip to the local zoo we were lucky to have a couple of the animal trainers bring out 2 eagles for us to photograph. They set them down near the zoo enterance and let us photograph them for about an hour. I got several interesting shots, but was one of the few who was lucky enough to capture this eagle as it ruffled it feathers.
