"The word hotel is derived from the French hôtel (coming from hôte meaning host), which referred to a French version of a townhouse or any other building seeing frequent visitors, rather than a place offering accommodation"...yes but we need those hotels, motels, hostels who were offering their accommodation for a loooooong time and they have kind of hmm, soul is a good word for that. We would like to see those nobel and historic ones but we wouldn't mind frightening ruins. We even invite them with a warmness in our hearts.

To appreciate the beauty of this turn of the century historic hotel you have to see her in the full view with the Presidential Range at the foot of Mount Washington. This photo was taken durning Fall colors. Even on an overcast day the Hotel is sparkling.
