This Green-headed Tanager (Tangara seledon), with new plumage, is endemic from Brazilian Rainforests. In Portuguese they are called "Seven colored saira", making reference to the seven colors they have. Since the colors are structural (as opposed to pigmented), if flash is used they loose their beauty. Picture taken in Itatiaia National Park, in Rio de Janeiro.
