After a hard days work, I was walking to the parking lot past a number of flowering trees. It was just before sunset, and I spotted a lot of bumblebees hovering in the trees. This little worker bee had gathered a huge clump of pollen. Food crops would perish without Bees to pollenate them, and so we would soon perish. Behold, The HONEY MINER has very important work to complete. Theo

Focal length: 340 mm
Shutter speed: 1/250 sec
Aperture: F9

Notes: Bumblebees are challenging, due to their erratic and fast movement. Flash helped to penetrate deeper into the tree follage, and keep the shutter speed fast enough to stop the motion. This is one of the those lucky compositions, due to the mass of pollen.
