Additional rules:

The entire subject must be in focus. If your subject is a ladybug, the entire ladybug MUST be in focus. If any part of the subject is OOF, it will be disqualified
There is no requirement to use a macro lens. However, if you use a close-up lens or a compact camera, your background would need to be out of focus (do not submit an image where the entire frame is sharp- ONLY the subject should be completely in focus... the background MUST be out of focus)
Do not use photoshop to try and blur the background (just to conform to these guidelines). Those doing so, will be disqualified.
No restrictions on the subject matter. Please try and submit colorful and varying subjects
Please do not put frames or watermarks on your images. Those doing so, will be disqualified
