If it had not been HDR, it would never capture that tonal range... I am really glad that we have all these tools... To be honest, I seriously doubt I could do this with film, magnifyer and all my tricks.

Btw., this locomotive has nothing to do with Russia, or the Soviet Union. It was manufactured by the Skoda works in former Czechoslovakia. It was the best freight steam locomotive the former CSD had and it represents the peak of steam locomotive construction in Europe.

I love the angle that you've captured from, and how the two towers on each side frame the train. It's such a strong image that I almost feel like ducking down to avoid getting run over when I look at it!
