The history of St.Peter’s cathedral in Riga starts in the 13th century when it was built. Cathedral survived wars, fires, thunderbolts and lightings and now proudly stands as a symbol of Riga. There’s an observation floor in the cathedral and it’s 72 metres above the sea level. It was open to the public in 1973 and there’s an elevator service available. Vistas from there are amazing. On this shot there are bits of everything: old town tiled roofs,Central market pavilions, Academy of Science, TV
