Challenge #15 in the Serie A series. Hosted by Andy Westlake.
Challenge has finished
Vignetting is often seen by the unimaginative as an optical defect to be avoided at all costs. But it can be a powerful method of drawing attention to your subject, by reducing the visual impact of the surroundings and background. Show us pictures which use vignetting to help make their point.

Shot at the Père Lachaise cemetery. I like the effect this Lytar lens gives to pictures. It's "vintaging" everything, especially thanks to it natural vignetting. I found it quite appropriate for this picture of the tombstone of one of our presidents... It seems like some ancient tomb, buried under the years.
