For this challenge, since relatively few travelers get to this amazing country, you can enter portraits (any type), nature, culture, architecture, etc. Anything that captures the spirit of Nepal in your eyes. Please, enter images that you've not already used in prior challenges . . . let's see something fresh and new from you. (I will likely depend on help from other challenge participants in tracking down violators. So, images that are repeats could be DQ'd at any time . .. even after the challenge ends!) Entrants are required to (1) vote for each other entry, (2) read the comments (if any) below this challenge, in case I or other entrants post with Rules questions or clarifications, and (3) follow each of the challenge rules.
Moths, The Modest Beauties
Submissions end in 2 days (Friday, 21 Jun 2013)

In this challenge, show us the beauty of moths, Order Lepidoptera. Moths are flying insects which (generally) hold their resting wings flat. Their antennae do NOT have the 'knobs' at the tips seen on butterflies. They are usually more modest in appearance than their butterfly cousins. Many are night-flyers. (Butterflies are mostly day-flyers, holding their wings upright to their body, when at rest.) Show us moths outside in their natural environment, on leaves, flowers, trees, etc., NOT inside under studio lights. HOWEVER, because moths at night are attracted to artificial lights, photos taken of these moths sitting on walls, windows, etc will be accepted in this challenge. Macro and close-up shots welcome. Check http://bugguide.net/node/view/82/bgpage for more information. Size: MAXIMUM 1,600px on LONGER SIDE.
