Pay attention: landscapes after a bad weather event - i.e.: snow covered land under a bright sun or wet grassland after the rain has stopped - aren't allowed.

Thistles, Teasels, & Other Flowers Protected by Prickles or Thorns Challenge finished on Saturday, 27 Jun 2015 This challenge is to showcase the interesting and 'touch-me-not' flower heads such as thistles, teasels, (teasles, teazels) and other flowers which are very beautiful, but protect themselves from predators with their sharp prickles or spines. Your entries may be flowers, or seed heads after the flowers have died, but they MUST show some prickles, thorns or spines on or around the flower to alert us to their danger. (The flowers of cacti, or roses, for example will NOT be eligible UNLESS the prickles or thorns are part of the flower head, and not just on the stem or branch.) Macro and close-up photos welcome. Size of entry: 1,600px MAXIMUM on its longer side.
Six of Me... Challenge finished on Friday, 26 Jun 2015 Let's get a little creative and have fun. Submit a photo with six of you in the frame (i.e. use multiple exposure/ layers to capture six of yourself in the photo). You can shoot indoors (e.g. have one of you sitting on a couch, the other standing by the TV etc) or outdoors (e.g. in the parks, shopping etc). Since all the photos in this challenge will have six of the photographer, the creative placement of the photographer is what will stand out- so go wild! Note: I would prefer that you photograph yourself, but you can submit the image with another human subject (i.e. the photographer does not have to be in the photo).
