For example, a 50mm lens on full frame, 35mm lens on APS-C, 25mm on micro 43, etc are all fine. Although I would prefer that you use a prime lens, zooms set to a 50mm equivalent focal length are ok as well. Many outstanding photographers have shot with a 50mm lens. The best ones use the 50mm as either a short telephoto, or a long wide angle.

Central Africa: Non-Portraits Challenge finished on Thursday, 20 Feb 2014 As we move (roughly) south thru Africa, the this challenge will cover the following countries: Burundi, Uganda, Rwanda, The CAR, Dem Rep of Congo; Zimbabwe, and Zambia. It is my sense that very few people have been to many/all of these countries, so I don't think we'll hit the 35-entry maximum. If we do, then I'll probably add more spaces, so everyone who wants can enter. Entrants are required to (1) vote for each other entry, (2) read the comments (if any) below this challenge, in case I or other entrants post with Rules questions or clarifications, and (3) follow each of the challenge rules...including voting WITHIN THE FIRST SIX DAYS of the challenge.
