7 Deadly Sins: Invidia (b&w) Challenge finished on Tuesday, 19 Oct 2010 The 7 Deadly Sins, used since the advent of Christianity, are the most objectionable vices which beckon humans to sin (more info at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_deadly_sins). This challenge explores "invidia" (also known as "envy"), its most basic definition being "the resentment caused by a person having something that the other does not have". There are numerous ways to interpret this with imagery and it is now up to your creativity and perhaps a little research to come up with something that portrays this "deadly sin".

Bridges in monochrome Challenge finished on Monday, 18 Oct 2010 ...not just in black and white but sepia, blue-tone, etc are acceptable. Be creative. Find a different viewpoint on your bridge which can be any kind of bridge, not just highway or road types. Footbridges can also be interesting. Also, bridges under construction or being demolished may also lend themselves to great shots. I have only 2 restrictions: NO SKYWALKS and NO AERIAL shots. the reason? Aerial shots are always "interesting" by definition and I think skywalks are, in general, an affront to my senses. Plus, it's my challenge. (I do realize that some shots will be taken from above but just make sure they are taken on the ground. I can usually tell.)
