Milwaukee WI USA Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Jul 2010 OK, if people can have challenges of their home towns or favorite city, so can I. Milwaukee, often derisively called a suburb of Chicago, has itself many interesting and unique features. Your job is to find photographically interesting features of Milwaukee. You are on your honor but be prepared to be challenged to say exactly where your photo was taken. The pictures must be from within the city limits of Milwaukee: no suburbs allowed! While the downtown area has many good angles, also try to find other points of interest.

My Other Camera... Challenge finished on Monday, 05 Jul 2010 Time to kick off the Engineering Series. Our first challenge is to photograph a remarkable and beautiful piece of engineering that you use regularly: your camera. In this challenge you are to photograph your other camera, as a beautiful and living piece of engineering. Let your imagination go wild, treat the camera as a living breathing entity. Don't just sit it on a table and snap a picture of it. Your camera witnesses a lot in this world, it explores the world with you. It is your silent and trusty companion. It's a lot more exciting than you may think it is.
Winner: Having a Guest For Lunch
I got ya! Challenge finished on Monday, 05 Jul 2010 This theme is about showing us photos that would be impossible to take without the camera in your pocket. Photos, where the DSLR would take too much attention or distract the photographed subject. Photos, where the huge DoF is rather an advantage than otherwise ;)

Faces and hands Challenge finished on Sunday, 04 Jul 2010 It's been said that hands reveal as much about a person as the face. Have both hands and faces togther in a photograph and what results can be a unqiue and evocative portrait. For this challenge, both the face and one or both hands of a SINGLE SUBJECT must be visible in the frame. The hand(s) can partically obscure the face as seen in the example, but not completey cover the face.
