> a simple question: "What keeps a human alive?" Challenge finished on Monday, 06 Sep 2010 I was spending some time reading a book and found a simple but 'deep' question: "What keeps a human alive?" (Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn - "Cancer Ward") It is a simple question and most of us (if not all of us) had it at least once in his/her lifetime and, most likely, he/she also tried to find an answer (It is not necessary to reach this question by reading it in a book - and also not necessary to find the answer in a book). Take a dare...!?

Images from Nepal Challenge finished on Sunday, 05 Sep 2010 Arguably, Nepal is one of the most photogenic of countries. Show your best images taken in Nepal. Nature, Culture, People, architecture are all OK but no macro or close-up shots that does not explicitly show that the image was taken in Nepal. For example, a close-up shot of a distinct architecture of Nepalese window is OK but a close-up of a rose is not.
The Beetles Challenge finished on Saturday, 04 Sep 2010 This challenge theme is based on the four wheeled variety of bug, NOT ones with legs, no insect pictures. What we are looking for are creative, interesting, pictures with the theme of the Volkswagen Beetle in various states of repair or pristine glory. One of the worlds most popular cars, if you don't have an image in your archives going out and finding one to shoot should be no problem. Your image should contain an easily recognizable and easily visible part of the the 'people's car' at a minimum.
