Winner: Firesteel I-70 Long Haul.
Ad campaign: Long haul Challenge finished on Wednesday, 07 Dec 2011 The client is a trucking company specializing in long hauls (long distance transportation). They're looking for a photo they can use for various purposes including their newsletter, their web site and on leaflets. The image should be bold and really speak to the idea of long haul trucking. They do not necessarily need a photo of a truck as they're open to the idea of something more conceptual if it gets the point across. What they do not want is an image with any sort of brand easily identified.
Winner: Parent with Young

Don't ya hate that?

The Songs Of Life: White America Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 READ THE RULES! This challenge is all about interpretation: I named it with the title of a popular song (by Eminem), and it will be up to the entrants to determine what the song means to them - and how they can express that with a photo. **The link to the lyrics is at the top of the rules**
Transparency + Reflection Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 The object of this Challenge is to include both transparent and reflective view of the water surface in the same frame. It can be done in various ways, and it's up to you to pick your own way to present it - but it has to be one-shot photo, NOT a composition. The transparent part of the picture has to show some underwater detail. The reflected part may or may not reflect anything special, since even a muddy water can reflect, but it can hardly have any usable transparency at all. The photographs in this Challenge should aim to present the clarity of waters around us, which we associate with health, joy, well-preserved natual resource and its unique beauty.

Great Escape [B&W] Challenge finished on Monday, 05 Dec 2011 Show us where you escape to when you want to be far away from the world (figuratively speaking). It can be anything or any place - a spot in the mountains, a favorite corner of the room with a good book, anything, as long as it is a place where you escape occasionally, not a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Remember - the mood of the photo is your primary objective. There must be a personal item in the photo, something that will tell us this is *your* spot. Per series' theme, let the image speak: *NO TITLES OR DESCRIPTIONS* (put a dash "-" in place of title). No classical portraits (read description here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portrait). If a face is visible within the scope of the person's environment, it's ok). To preserve anonymity, please no visible copyright with author's name. -- Voters: Please vote in a slideshow.
