Lens review & test: Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II VC LD Aspherical IF Challenge finished on Sunday, 13 Nov 2011 I wonder why Tamron uses such a long name for a lens... anyway... How many users dream about the perfect zoom lens? Ok, I know: it doesn't exist... but let's try to see what they can do, starting with the one at subject. So: for this challenge, only pictures taken with this Tamron lens are allowed. Try to convince me (and anyone else) to ask Santa Klaus this lens to replace my kit lens :) It doesn't matter the camera body you used, but it is mandatory to indicate that you used this exact lens (since exists some other version from Tamron).
