Winner: Fork & Spoon still life
uncommon still life II Challenge finished on Saturday, 06 Apr 2013 Compose a 'photographic work of art' depicting inanimate subject matter from uncommon objects. Normally a still life is a collection typically commonplace objects which may be either natural (food, flowers, plants, rocks, or shells) or man-made (drinking glasses, books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, and so on). But with this assignment you’ll be asked to think 'outside the box', and use some surprisingly weird and/or interesting things, that makes the viewer wonder. And remember the objects must be deliberately staged by you as the photographer, so no still lives arranged by natural coincidence, or someone else. For examples see my previous challenge: http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Challenge.aspx?ID=7505
