The presence of absence Challenge finished on Tuesday, 18 Oct 2011 The challange is to create a photo where main subject is noticable by the very lack its missing from the photos. This can be achieved many ways by either not having the subject in the photo at all, or removing the subject in PP. If you take the photoshop route it must not be obvious that something has been removed. Ie no blanks spaces where the object was. Think the heinz ketchup advert with no bottle (http://www.adweek.com/adfreak/heinz-ketchup-ads-do-fine-without-bottle-14061) Another example I submitted amoving horse and carrage and removed the horses but left all their harness work in place via Photoshop. Someone else setup a scene to mimick a bride and groom at the alter holding hands, but simply never placed the bride in the photo. So there shot was acheived straight out of camera. I've tried to make this a clear as I can but any questions just message me.

Detail(s) of a BIG town (no human beings nor animals) - pls read the rules Challenge finished on Monday, 17 Oct 2011 Some time, even a chaotic, huge city can have a romantic mood of its own, or can represent itself from another angle of view. The aim of this challenge is to tell a story of a big and usually crowded city WITHOUT the crowd, in order to show only that modern/artificial environment in which people move. Pls note: MANDATORY to write down anywhere the name of the city. This challenge doesn't aim to determine how big has to be a city in order not to be considered as a village...
