Bhutan--anything goes Challenge finished on Thursday, 11 Jul 2013 Have you been to Bhutan? Nope, me neither. It's one of the most inaccessible countries on earth...strict limits on how many outsiders can visit each year. But for those lucky few, they get astonishing vistas, colorful locals, exotic festivals, and some of the friendliest people on earth. For this challenge, you can enter portraits (any type), nature, culture, architecture, etc. Anything that captures the spirit of Bhutan in your eyes. Please, enter images that you've not already used in prior challenges . . . let's see something fresh and new from you. (I will likely depend on help from other challenge participants in tracking down violators. So, images that are repeats could be DQ'd at any time . .. even after the challenge ends!) Entrants are required to (1) vote for each other entry, (2) read the comments (if any) below this challenge, in case I or other entrants post with Rules questions or clarifications, and (3) follow each of the challenge rules.
Winner: Water (SB)
Full Frame (FF) or APS-C with Focal Reducer (SB) (LT)? Challenge finished on Thursday, 11 Jul 2013 Let's compare images shot using either a Full-Frame (FF) sensor or an APS-C sensor behind a "Speed Booster" (SB) or "Lens Turbo" (LT) focal reducer which approximates the FF view. Make sure you include (FF), (SB), or (LT) in the title to indicate which you used to capture the image. Have good APS-C sensors with SB and LT made FF sensors difficult to justify?
Ad campaign: Independent Challenge finished on Wednesday, 10 Jul 2013 A healthcare organization is creating a new campaign for their services. They are targeting single people, old and young, so marketing is looking for an image of someone alone. The image must be a positive portrayal of an individual in a larger surrounding. An image where the person fills the frame is unsuitable. Subjects must look strong, comfortable or confident, able to look after themselves, independent.
Winner: Red Campion Wild Flower seen through a water droplet.

It would be great to have a faceshot with the whole body, but if it's not possible then other weaker shots would also be accepted. Silhouettes shots do not qualify, my apologies. You may enter up to 2 entries, provided they are different person. Photo can be taken with any camera, i.e DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless, Compact, Smartphone, etc...
