Outside your comfort zone Challenge finished on Friday, 02 Mar 2012 Your assignment: Take a photo of something you dislike, and try to see it in a different way. Or try something entirely new. Some examples: If you're a nature photog who doesn't do people photography, take a portrait. If you don't like cats, photograph one. Hate spiders? Well...if it's a phobia talk with your doctor before attempting to use them as a subject, and if they're poisonous steer clear, otherwise give it a try. ;) You get the idea. I hope.

Motion DEblurred Challenge finished on Thursday, 01 Mar 2012 This challenge is for photos taken under circumstances that surely should have caused motion blur, but did not result in a blurry image because the camera or post-processing removed the blur. The thing that kept the image from being blurred could be anti-shake hardware, multi-shot anti-blur processing in the camera (e.g., as implemented in Sony NEX), or it could be "blind deconvolution" post-processing software. Using a fast shutter speed, holding the camera more steady (e.g., using a tripod), or panning with a moving subject are NOT acceptable for this challenge -- see additional rules below.
1990's Challenge finished on Thursday, 01 Mar 2012 Your best shot of something that is from the 90's or a shot that you had taken in the 90's

Winner: Squirrel's New Friend
Funny Twosome! Challenge finished on Thursday, 01 Mar 2012 Put together two things one wouldn't normally expect finding together, in order to create a funny situation. You might decide to connect some odd things and take a photo of the funny resulting scene, or use themathic elements from different photos and combine them in photo-editing software. Note: whatever photos you use must be taken by you – do not use anything you have not photographed yourself. See the Intro to the Series (click at Laugh@Life above) for additional information, and do not forget to observe all the Rules. No sense being disqualified after all that work...
Winner: Red eyed tree frog
Wild amphibian/s Challenge finished on Thursday, 01 Mar 2012 Show off your best picture of an amphibian in its natural environment - so please no pictures of pets. Try to be as original as possible - perhaps an unusual crop on the feet, or a wide-angle habitat shot where the amphibian is only a small (but integral) component of the overall picture. Please also include the species name and approximate location.
