Foggy Monochrome Challenge finished on Thursday, 11 Sep 2014 Don't you just love seeing shades of grey on a foggy day? Show us your best foggy scene that naturally renders itself in a monochromatic way. Your image can be any outdoor scene, and may include ONE additional main colour other than your monochromatic scene. For example, it could be a traffic jam, where the fog renders all cars in shades of grey, but where stop lights of bright red are also part of the scene. This "accent" colour is not necessary, and your "main colour" doesn't need to be grey, but should be shades of a single colour. The colour requirements of this challenge will be interpreted fairly loosely by the host (richiebee), but the host's word is final. Entries will be expected to be meet the spirit of the challenge: it's about a foggy scene that renders itself in a mostly monochromatic way. Images with lots of different bright colours will absolutely be disqualified!
Winner: Shooting in the Rain
I'm shooting in the rain Challenge finished on Thursday, 11 Sep 2014 This is a challenge for shots taken in heavy rain or spray that caused VISIBLE DROPLETS on your lens. Waterproof housings, bags, or cameras might produce high-quality images in air or underwater, but a mix of air and water means shooting through distorting little puddles at the end of the optical path. Were you able to use that problem creatively to your advantage?
