Favorite photographer Challenge finished on Sunday, 30 Nov 2014 They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. this challenge is about bringing attention to your favorite photographer(s) by imitating their style while comprising your own masterpiece. include the artist you admire's name in the title or description. you may also include a link to some of their work but that is optional. BE CREATIVE, HAVE FUN.
Winner: Empty Benches at Sunset
A bench outside Challenge finished on Sunday, 30 Nov 2014 A gentle start to the series... This is a challenge for you to shoot within the time between announcement and submissions closing. Please share a photograph of a bench on which you might sit. It should be outside, that is, not within a building (though inside a courtyard surrounded by a building is OK, as is a bench under a pergola, for example). If there is more than one bench visible, one of them should be the obvious principal (see the second example shot where this is achieved with light and depth of field, but you can do it however you wish). When voting, please feel free to place an appreciative comment below any images you particularly like, highlighting what you enjoy in that image, and perhaps more importantly, polite and constructive criticism below any which you score low, remembering that our appreciation of each others' images is often a highly personal thing.
